For Love of the Mother
Prior to the advent of the patriarchal hegemony our planet endures today, there flourished many cultures and peoples guided by an appreciation and reverent worship of a universal mother spirit.
To know the mother, the feminine, is to know the fertile and creative parts of ourselves, to think and act from an intrinsic impulse of compassion and nurture.
It is no coincidence that poets, bards, artists, craftspeople, and the creative among humanity refer to the source of that creation as a feminine energy, their Muse.
A personal relationship with the Mother within gives men and women alike opportunity to tap a source of infinite power and abundance. Love of the Mother gives us to be more inclusive, more tolerant, better parents, better children.
The links below all reflect a distinctly feminine paradigm; be it spiritual, philosophic, political, literary, medical or otherwise. Put aside patriarchal scorn and prejudice. Lay down your fear. The Feminine abides in the deepest part of each of us. To know her is to understand more of the whole of yourself. She waits for you, arms outstretched, ready to gather you home.
The religion of love is apart from all religions.
Lovers of God have no religion but God alone.
